Thanks for the message. I'm n...Hi Dragonflyman,<br />Thanks for the message. I'm no expert so maybe I was mistaken. Unfortunately I had no camera at the time. All I went on is that it was a metalic 'green' dragonfly of a reasonable size. When I checked the literature when I got home, the only two other green dragonflies (Brilliant and Northern Emerald weren't found anywhere near Wales). The area I was looking was very good for dragonflies, a series of bends in the river just south of Welshpool on the road to Leighton.<br />Is there any other species it might have been? Did you get a photo of it, no matter how poor?
