Cemlyn Moths 22/7/13

A good night at Cemlyn 'on the moths'. Our Skinner trap was full and I have identified 626 macros of 74 species. This is probably the largest moth catch in my four years at Cemlyn.

Amongst the commoner species were 4 Brussels Lace (above, blending in with the toilet door), Dingy Footman, Northern Eggar, Least Yellow Underwing, Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, Yellowtail, Brown Line Bright Eye, Crescent Dart, Ruby Tiger, Chinese Character and Barred Red.
