A county first!!!
I had decided today to take a couple of micros I kept that I just couldn't nail down to recorder Julian Thompson at Pensychnant in the hope he's be able to help with id. Just by chance I took a different micro one along that I caught last night and couldn't id - and Julian thinks it's a county first ancylis achatana!! There's only been a few North Wales records with Abergele the nearest to me at Penrhyn Bay. Gobsmacked! At Julian's advice I'm sending photos off to another expert for confirmation. Here's a pic:
The other two micros JT's not certain about (they're what Steve thought were eudonia lineola) so I'm hoping to get a GD done to sort them out.
