Lilac Beauty

A lovely Lilac Beauty (carpiog y gwyddfid) caught in Glan Conwy this morning.
Not a frequently caught moth in Conwy.
Member of the 'Thorn' family, wings folded giving a crumpled leaf-like appearance. Caterpillar feeds on honeysuckle and privet

    Stunning, I caught one last year but it was a little rough around the edges then, so I only took ID shots.
