Added another four new for the year moths in the garden trap last night with common emerald, double square spot, marbled beauty and both varieties of riband wave (one with shaded broad band and the other without).
Lovely marbled beaut, have you checked the Double Square Spots for Triple Spotted Clay? This one looks quite richly coloured for a DSS - check the underwing. Cheers DB
Hi Dan, yeh checked it out hoping for TSC which I've never knowingly caught. This was broad winged, lacked any purple tint and I think the pic overstates the colour it was a lot duller than it looks. Cheers Julian
